Eppendorf is looking for a Temporary Customer Service Representative based out of our Enfield, CT location!
Eppendorf is a leading life science company that develops and sells instruments, consumables, and services for liquid-, sample-, and cell handling in laboratories worldwide. Eppendorf products are used in academic and commercial research laboratories, e.g., in companies from the pharmaceutical and biotechnological as well as the chemical and food industries.
The position is responsible for supporting all internal and external customers through order management and answering questions related to financial matters. Also providing information on product pricing, availability, and quotes.
– Communicates with customers by phone and email.
– Enters orders into the ERP system.
– Fills out forms, required to maintain a number of databases (SAP, LN, and U7).
– Assists customer with complaints concerning product supplied and follows up with other departments as needed to provide the customer with a positive experience.
– Supports Sales & Service in quotations, product availability, and order management.
– Customer Service Telephony skills are required.
– Strong professional communication skills
– Advanced Excel Skills
– High School Graduate but technical or business school or college experience desirable
– Experience with Excel is required.
– Self Starter
